Where are 128 billion dollars, President Erdogan?

Erdogan sent police special forces to opposition’s party branches. The reason was to tear down the ‘Where are 128 billion dollars’ posters.

Prosecutors’ office in Istanbul ordered the police into action because the slogans allegedly insulted President Erdogan.

The government claims the bank’s reserves still stand at 95.3 billion US dollars, which economists and international financial institutions doubt.

Despite the profound economic crisis that Turkey is facing — the worst in the last 50 years according to economic experts — Erdogan and his party members have grown enormously rich
