Cyprus and Jordan commit to enhancing relations
Cyprus and Jordan on Thursday committed to further enhancing bilateral relations on all levels, 60 years after the two states initiated diplomatic ties.
President Nicos Anastasiades received at the palace the Hashemite Kingdom’s Foreign Minister Ayman Al Safadi, here on a two-day working visit.
The two sides discussed the Middle East peace process, the situation in Ukraine in light of the ongoing Russian invasion, the emerging energy and food crises, EU-Jordan relations, as well as other current regional and international issues of common interest.
They also discussed bilateral cooperation in a wide range of areas, including in dealing with natural disasters, climate change and defence.
