Afghanistan dilemma, Terrorist smuggling operation by Qatar

Since the Taliban Islamic movement took back control of Afghanistan in August 2021, the country’s future has been subject to high levels of speculation and concern.

As a result, countries around the world are strategising the role they should play in the future of Afghanistan.

Qatar Airways has operated select charter flights from Kabul since early September 2021. However, these flights were canceled due to the Taliban’s demand to take their supporters as passengers on every flight of Qatar Airways, which was chartered by the US authorities for humanitarian flights. It is assumed that Islamic fundamentalists thus wanted to go abroad to find money for the new leadership of Afghanistan.
